Burkhalter is currently an Associate Professor of Theatre South Louisiana Community College, SoLAcc.
She has been a faculty member at SoLAcc since 2018

May 8-10 she will be starring in Fabulation by Lynn Nottage.
Co-directed by Tina A. Burkhalter & Josiah Price at Cite des Arts.
Recently
She recently played Rose in August Wilson's Fences and the role of Joi in a stage reading with the National Black Theatre for the play, Festival in da Back by Brian England as well as Aunt Emma in Twana Benoit's The Juneteenth Story at The Acadiana Center for the Arts.
